check the
support.microsoft.com web site or find that file by doing a public FTP search (below) and then downloading and placing it in you C:\\Windows\System directory. Example: If you received an error that a software requires COMDLG32.OCX, you would enter the exact name into the search box below and press"search". You would then find a list of available downloads found on FTP servers. There may be multiple locations available, select the one that is dated most recently and download the file. Save it in your C:\\Windows\System directory.
